Engineering Description: The project was designed with a thermal load of 11,700 kW and a cooling load of 15,188 kW. A double U-shaped underground heat exchange system, installed to a depth of 123 meters, was positioned within the perimeter of the green space.


Commercial-Residential Project

Project Description:

The project employs a composite ground-source heat pump air conditioning system, featuring a total of 1,024 vertical double-U buried pipe heat exchangers, each 80 meters deep. These heat exchangers are installed beneath the basement slab of the underground parking garage.

Project Area: 70,000 square meters

Engineering Description:

The project has a total designed cooling load of 6,100 kW and a total heating load of 6,680 kW. A total of 980 underground heat exchangers are installed outdoors. The ground-source heat pump (GSHP) system utilizes double U-tube heat exchangers, with a burial depth of 138 meters.



Villa Project

Residential Villa Category: Longwan Villa Project, Shunyi, Beijing  

Project Location: Houshayu, Changping District, Beijing  

Site Area: 150,000 square meters  

Construction Period: July 2006 – September 2009  

Engineering Description: Each villa was designed with 6–14 vertical buried tube heat exchangers, featuring borehole depths of 90–120 meters and a spacing of 4 meters between holes. The ground source heat pump (GSHP) air-conditioning system provides heating and cooling for the villas, and the system has been operating effectively.

Shanxi Datong Wangfu Grand Hotel Ground Source Heat Pump Project

Project Location: Shanxi Datong

Project Area: 185,000 square meters

Construction Date: May 2010 – October 2010

Engineering Description:

This project utilized a composite ground source heat pump air conditioning system, designed with 1,031 vertical buried pipe heat exchangers, each 138 meters deep. The heat exchangers were installed beneath the foundation slabs and surrounding the buildings.

Longwan Days Hotel Ground Source Heat Pump Project

Project Location: Shunyi District, Beijing Municipality

Project Area: 32,767 square meters

Project Description:

Load Design: Total designed cooling load ≈ 2,500 kW, total heating load ≈ 2,200 kW.

Ground Heat Exchanger System: 360 vertical boreholes, each with a depth of 120 meters and spaced 5 meters apart.

Plant Room Equipment: 3 ground source heat pump units installed.

Indoor HVAC System: Fan coil + fresh air system.

Educational project

Educational Institution: Renmin University of China Sports Training Base Ground-Source Heat Pump Project

Project Location: Renmin University of China

Project Area: 20,000 square meters

Construction Date: April 2012

Engineering Description:

The total cooling load of the project is 1,753 kW, and the total heating load is 1,733 kW. The design includes 252 vertical ground heat exchangers, each 120 meters deep, which are installed within the football field area.

Beijing Limai School International Division Ground-Source Heat Pump Project

Project Location: Houshayu, Shunyi District, Beijing

Project Area: 22,000 square meters

Engineering Description: Load Requirements: Total cooling load of approximately 2,100 kW, total heating load of approximately 2,050 kW. Ground Heat Exchange System: 318 vertical boreholes (125 meters deep each, spaced 5 meters apart). Heat Pump Equipment: 2 ground-source heat pump units installed in the mechanical room. Indoor HVAC System: Fan coil units combined with a fresh air system.

Industrial Park Project

Eco Greenland Industrial Park Ground Source Heat Pump Project  

Project Location: Changping East District, Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing  

Project Area: 27,000 square meters

Engineering Description: This project employs a combined system of ground source heat pumps (GSHP) and air source heat pumps (ASHP) for heating and cooling. The machine room is equipped with two GSHP systems, comprising a total of 4 heat pump units, with a heating capacity of 1,084.4 kW and a cooling capacity of 1,092 kW. Outdoor components include 325 single-U ground source heat exchangers, with boreholes drilled to a depth of 50 meters. The outdoor piping occupies an area of 2,925 square meters.


Industrial Park Project

Niantao Industrial Park Building 1 & 2 Ground Source Heat Pump Project  

Project Location: Machikou Town, Changping District, Beijing  

Project Area: 25,000 square meters  

Construction Date: March 2009 – September 2009  

Engineering Description: The project was designed with a cooling load of 1,194 kW and a heating load of 1,103 kW. Two heat pump units were installed to provide heating and cooling for the buildings. Outdoors, 360 dual-loop U-tube ground heat exchangers, each with a depth of 125 meters, were deployed.



Industrial Park Project

Energy Project by Tianjin Jiaokong Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.

Project Location: Wuqing District, Tianjin

Site Area: 58,000 square meters

Construction Date: 2023

Project Description: This project adopts a ground-source heat pump + energy storage + ultra-low temperature air-source heat pump coupling system, replacing the original municipal energy supply and conventional air-cooled heat pump scheme. A total of 535 ground-source heat exchanger wells are installed outdoors.

Xinleineng Industrial Park Ground Source Heat Pump Project  

Project Location: East District of Changping Park, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park

Project Description: The energy system configuration employs a hybrid system consisting of ground source heat pump units, centrifugal chiller units, and gas-fired boilers to meet the building's cooling demand in summer and heating demand in winter. A total of 570 vertical boreholes were installed.

Engineering Description: This project employs a hybrid ground-source heat pump HVAC system, with a total designed cooling load of 2,770 kW and a total heating load of 2,100 kW. The system is equipped with 350 sets of vertical double-U-shaped pipe heat exchangers, each with a depth of 53 meters.

Fulai Palace Convention Center Ground Source Heat Pump Retrofitting Project

Location: Xiaotangshan Town, Changping District, Beijing

Site Area: 31,900 square meters

Construction Period: March 2016 – September 2017

Project Description: The project was designed with a total cooling load of 2,454 kW and a total heating load of 2,248 kW, equipped with one ground source heat pump unit to provide heating and cooling for the building. Outdoors, 404 double U-shaped ground heat exchangers, each 130 meters deep, were installed to complete the system.

Resort Project

HongLu Hot Spring Villa Ground Source Heat Pump Project

Location: Xiaotangshan Town, Changping District, Beijing

Site Area: 22,819 square meters

Construction Date: July 2013

Project Description: Designed total cooling load: ~1,870 kW, total heating load: ~1,790 kW.

A total of 260 vertical boreholes were designed for ground heat exchange, with each borehole at a depth of 130 meters and spaced 4 meters apart. The machine room houses 1 ground source heat pump unit. Indoor systems include a fan coil water system and a full-air HVAC system.

Beijing Longmai Hot Spring Resort Ground Source Heat Pump Renovation Project  

Project Location: Changping District, Beijing  

Project Area: 44,300 square meters  

Engineering Description: This project features a total cooling load of 5,951 kW and a total heating load of 3,394 kW. A total of 814 ground heat exchangers were designed, with boreholes reaching a depth of 130 meters and spaced 4 meters apart.

Project Name: Beijing Qiangniute New Building Materials Co., Ltd. Office Building

Location: Xingshou Development Zone, Changping District, Beijing

Floor Area: 3,200 square meters

Construction Period: April 2005 – May 2005

Engineering Description: Designed with a total cooling load of approximately 270kW and a total heating load of about 250kW. The system comprises 80 vertical buried pipe heat exchange wells, each 80 meters deep, spaced 4-4.5 meters apart. The indoor HVAC system adopts a fan coil water system.

New Rural Central Heating

The First Mountainous Ground Source Heat Pump Central Heating Project in the Beijing Suburbs  

Location: Tieluo Village, Dazhuangke Township, Yanqing  

Area: 34,000 square meters  

Construction Period: August 2015 – November 2015  

Project Description: This project features a ground source heat pump system with 391 underground heat exchangers, each with an effective depth of 120 meters. The original temperature of the soil layer within the burial depth of the heat pump ground pipes is 13.5°C. The spacing between boreholes for the buried pipes is 4.5 meters. 32mm HDPE pipes with double U-shaped connections are used in the boreholes. The stratum lithology within a 120-meter depth at the construction site consists of Yanshanian granite.


Industrial Park Project

Shahe Pharmaceutical and Health Industrial Park Integrated Energy Project   

Location: Shahe Town, Changping District, Beijing  

Design Year: 2024  

Building Area: 95,540 m²  

Project Overview:   

Total designed cooling load: 22,262 kW  

Total designed heating load: 19,276 kW (including a steam humidification heating load of 3,728 kW and a domestic hot water load of 510 kW)  

System configuration: Ground-source heat pump coupled with a gas boiler heating system.  

Ground-source heat pumps account for 65.49% of the heating capacity. Six sets of ground-source heat pump units are installed, providing a total heating capacity of 12,624 kW.  

1,941 geothermal wells, with a depth of 150 m, a spacing of 4–4.5 m, all arranged within the red line of the plot.
